You are either very unfortunate and unlucky - or you have to take on the realisation that you're not as good as you might think. I've lived in an out of the Manchester area for pretty much all of my life - and some of the driving habits of people simply beggar belief. I've had a few close runs...
Well I'm a PC gamer at heart and bought the 360 late into its product cycle and the PS3 really late in the game. Which one do we use the most? The PS3.
I'm not in the market for another console, but if I was, I'd be looking at the PS4 first - purely off the experience of the previous...
That's disappointing to hear. What is it with the instant gratification necessity these days in games? Are the developers truly believing that gamers don't want to play towards achievements and would prefer to get them handed on a plate? Level 34 in 5 hours play of an FPS is a joke.

I forgot to add - the software even created a Battlefield 4 sub folder in my C:\Shadowplay folder and put the recording there, with a filename based on the time stamp.
It must have some way of checking what app is running (****.exe check up list?) and create a relevant folder all on its own...
According to nVidia (and as SnapMonkey says) - it's supposedly a 5% overhead to make the recording? Pretty impressive.
Yes m8. It defaults to Alt+F11 for the manual recording stop & start - but you can assign a key of your own. There's a folder path option of where it dumps the file too, which...
Why for gods sake - just why?
I wouldn't offer £800 for this, let alone £8k.
He clearly is expecting a tsunami wave of shite heading his way with his final comment "ONLY EMAIL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE CAR AS TIME WASTING IMMATURE IDIOTS WILL BE REPORTED TO EBAY"
Probably preaching to the converted here, so apologies if you're already aware of it!
Basically nVidia has got a Beta release of a capture software called Shadowplay. It requires an nVidia card of 650 spec and above and I had a dabble with it first thing this morning.
Managed to capture about...
I still really like these. Gally's above would be how I'd like mine to look if I had one!
I wonder how better they would have faired if the standard power was on par with a 182?

Nice! The weird thing is with the 690, I've seen a couple of sites where the retail on them has gone up? Amazon now have the same Gigabyte card as mine going from £758 last week, to £780 now? At the same time, the 780Ti cards seem to be dropping...?

Loving it so far! Downloaded Company of Heroes 2 and it didn't flinch with it. Got BF4 downloaded and Witcher 2, though I've yet to try them.
Planetary Annihilation ran dog slow though. Clearly something was amiss - especially when the wattage readout on the rear of the PSU didn't even break...
Looks very similar to what we're doing. Five terminal servers, two SQL, 1 Exchange and a sprinkling of other spanning two SANs and on three VMWare boxes. Looks quite painless (so far - lol!) and a bit more 'fluffy' than Hyper-V.
I've tended to ignore virtualisation for quite some time, but...
I'll keep trying with it - but I don't see the point in 'moulding' Windows 8 back to how Windows 7 was. At the moment, I just can't shake the 'extra steps' mentality that Windows 8 has slid into place. I don't think I've ever used as many keyboard shortcuts in my life to simply get where I need...
If you have the key for 8 alone, it won't allow you to download the 8.1 ISO. Microsoft want you to install the 8 version and then upgrade it to 8.1
Personally, I'd stick with Windows 7. The last reformat I did about three weeks ago took me back to Windows 7. Try as I might (and trust me, I...
Still one of the best game modes in online FPS that I've ever played. Not quite sure how well it will translate into a modern-day setting with carriers, etc. After all, half of the fun on 2142 was sneaking in an APC underneath a Titan, then guiding your drop-pod in with precision and wiping out...
I need to focus more on these types of games. On paper, they appear to be right up my street, but I hardly got anywhere with the Dragon Age games, nor the previous Witcher games.
I fail.

Bit more news.... (as per Scutch's comment)
Release Date of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – An Open Letter
Ever since we started working on the third installment in The Witcher franchise, it has been our aim to produce a title that would take our 11 years of experience in creating RPGS and...
I think its more the GPU side m8.
My specs are:-
Asus Rampage III Extreme mobo
18GB memory
i7 965 Extreme Edition CPU
2x nVidia GTX460 in SLi
1x nVidia Quadro card set to purely run Physx
The only other game I have that runs this bad is Witcher II with all the eye-candy on.

You seem better off than me! I literally had one planet with one moon and my main dude literally chugs along to make one metal extractor. I made about 6 structures before the enemy AI sent in a scouting fly-over. It was a slideshow as head honcho fired at them along with the single AA-turret...
I think you've answered your own question there m8. Oil leaks (certainly of the severity that you mention) are beyond the realms of day-to-day car owners - myself included. Even though money's tight, I'd definitely bite-the-bullet and get the car down to Dan ASAP. Surely his inspection of the...
Doing really well m8! Very happy here and life's peachy with my gf! :o
Cleaned both of our cars earlier in the underground - there's even a mini boiler on the wall for hot water :) The only slight downside is the lack of natural drainage. As a consequence, they ask that you sweep any excess...
Can you not just reset the device with a reset button/pin-hole? By default, it should reboot into DHCP anyway, which would eliminate the address issue. Unless there's another network device answering DHCP requests nearby?
