I've seen quite a few attempting to join and then get kicked for using several different types of aimbot. Although it won't get everybody, it's nice to see that checks are in place to get rid of most of the idiots.
I've never understood why people go for glitches and hacks that put them SO far...
Erm, probably about 3-4 years worth of plastic extrusion shavings, general factory dust, a few shavings of aluminium and knowing the factory lads - probably various human bits like skin, toe nails, left over bacon butties, etc....

I had a similar problem with my front wipers the other week. The middle two bolts came off quite easily with the removal tool - but the passenger side blade was an absolute b*****d to get off.

I much prefer being an engi. But I bet along with you and Longy, I'd make a shitload of points being support with the ammo bags!
Loved that bit late on in the round, where that guy had bailed from a helo and landed on the roof down near Point B and iirc, all three of us were firing up at him...
With a Stinger?! Please tell me Jedi Master as clearly it isn't working for me!
Attaining lock - firing straight away? Attaining lock and awaiting them to fire their counter-measures? The vast majority fail. I've seen friendly aircraft fire upon enemies planes - only to see their missiles...
Chaps,
Does anyone know what size the tubing from the washer pump to the headlights is 3mm? Bloody annoyed as I had the bumper off yesterday and could have checked myself! :o
Cheers,
D.
I had one game last night (not sure if Longy joined soon enough to see it?) - who was goading us to shoot down his Little Bird helo with a Stinger. I tried - and failed repeatedly. I don't expect a 100% success rate on AA - or even 50%. But I think I've only brought down one aircraft with an AA...
It is - yes, but s**t doesn't make sense any more with anti-armour roles. There was always a clearly defined range of hit boxes on armour - where accurate shots could exploit the armour's weakness. Those seem to have gone out of the window now and AT weaponry isn't much better either. I've...
I am m8 - still remember those online goes of BF2142?
I've cracked lvl10 now - purely through dogged determination to have a pop at being the commander for once. The netcode is broken - regardless of ping. I've shot way ahead of people and somehow they still die. I've observed people...
Yep - blue are your team mates - green are your squad mates. You always earn more points doing squad-related tasks - capturing or defending a point when asked by your squad leader - or providing ammo, medkits or spot assists for your squad mates. Even targeting armour with a laser that then gets...
VERY impressive machining going on there!

That was my argument for the earlier titles in the series. BF1942 has no unlocks - just the kit choice you made at the spawn screen. BF2 introduced unlocks, but they were minimal and you had to play a LOT to get one of them.
These days, you literally climb one ladder, fart on your chair and...
Emptied what would have been several hundred rounds from a top mount turret into a patrolling Little-Bird and two snipers that I continued to spot on a nearby skyscraper roof.
Didn't kill anything - despite my cross-hair continually flashing that hits were being recorded. Then someone spotted...
I want to punch Patrick Bach clean in the throat.
Top marks however, for bringing back the Gulf of Oman map. Like f**k am I paying extra for it though. Premium can go ride it's own poopy-chute.

I wouldn't m8 - be free to make up your own mind with it :) I guess I'm just vocal about my dislike about the recent BF games as I've consistently played as an engineer, or piloted various vehicles. I'm not that interested in Battlefield as an infantry-based FPS game and unfortunately, they have...
Ah - I'm glad you mentioned that roulette option. I was planning to tick all the boxes for random damage, etc. Are you saying this isn't a good thing to do then? :)
Cheers,
D.
Got it - not played it yet though!
Stupidly, I lost my saved game so it will be a brand new start for me. Do you know if it adds new features right from the beginning, or only from a certain point in the game?

Just the standard AT weapon. It's pathetically underpowered - especially with the laughable auto-repair on the opposing vehicles. Seeing a smoking scout helicopter (not even a gunship) simply stop smoking over time and carry on with it's unlimited ammo'd business - just further enhances the...
Yep - I've made myself a victim of that. ;)
The flat side of the washer goes against the car 'side' and the tapered edge is facing outwards. I've put that the wrong way around before now and the life of the bearing reduces dramatically.

Well I've managed to get to Rank 4 and both my patience and interest in this online are rapidly wearing thin.
I've finally got a stable version thanks to the reverted drivers, but it's still hit & miss as to whether or not a new round starts when one finishes. More often than not, it either...
The clip hasn't been removed or moved along the tubing at all. But it doesn't make sense (to me - lol) where it should be clipped to? I think it's underneath the plastic mesh, near the washer bottle, but then it doesn't have the reach to go stretch to the bonnet nozzle? Confused.
Has anyone...
TLC on these really does negate a lot of the 'issues' you'd expect with high mileage. What's the age of the 182 by the way?
The key ones to look out for are the auxiliary belts (every 36,000 iirc?) and the cambelt at every 60,000. The former has the potential to take out the latter if it goes...
Does it do it on every gearchange - regardless of whether or not the car is up to temperature? Any evidence that it's had the gearbox oil drained and replaced?
I doubt a simple oil change would rectify your issues - but it may do if the crunch noise is only sporadic?
