    Its only the upper that differs for 172/182, lowers are the same.

    It could just be as theres more pressure on the belt from the PAS pump at full lock (its trying to push fluid where it shouldn't go!) and the belt/tensioner is what the noise is. Or, it could well be the pump on its way out etc.

    Its easy to remove the whole side trim, I always use plastic trim tools though, just need to get the little securing lug to come out the door then they slide backwards.     Its a 1.2, any air filter will do. I wouldn't spend out more for something that wont make any differance and will be changed in a year or two anyway.

    My DCi is on iirc 166k now, gets abused and is still mechanically fine. With the exhaust, just get a decat made, and maybe cut the backbox off if you fancy it (see my thread for what I did as for tip etc), I need to get a vid of mine.
