Been reading that thread, mentions using wd40 to remoove bugs etc. Is wd40 safe to use on paintwork.

Picked up my Trophy tonight, good and bad so far.
Good:
-Handling, even on worn tyres and in the wet the front end feels nailed to the apex
-Noise. Has decat, stainless exhaust, bmc cda, sounds great.

Reply to your texts gayer! Your probably one fo the few people with decent experience of both. Which would you say would be the better handling car, Trophy or 172 on H&R's?
Has anyone driven a Trophy and a H&R'd 172? How'd they compare? Currently trying to decide wether to get rid of the 172 for a Trophy, or just go H&R route (I'd miss monaco:o). Any experience/opinions. As the 172 stands now, have trendlines, uprated pads/discs.
Was all set for a vee, until I worked out petrol costs on mileage, decided that with getting married this yr, can't justify it. So, looking at Trophy's now. How do they compare to 172/182's? Had 2 172's and 1 182cup before, are they that much of an impprovment?
