On a standard engine, what amount could I run reliably?

Have Phase II valver wheels on there. I like the ride as it is but would prefer a slightly lower look to it. If I lower it does the ride have to get bumpy. Can I avoid it?

Are these all the rounder shape on the 1.4RT rather than the little ones like on the Valvers?

And should I change the tensioners while Im at it? Am on 64,000 miles on 1.8 RSi.

Have my MOT on Sat. Am taking the decat off and replacing it will my Broken Cat. I have taken all of the middle out of the cat so it is in effect a straight through and the MOT bloke wont notice that! So will my car be off on the emissions? I have a cone filter on it at the moment will it...

Is there anything I should be wary of here. I have done a change on a Ford engine so I know I have to keep it in the right possitions and make sure that when I tighten it I dont misalign it? Are there any other probs I should be aware of on my RSi? Thanks!
