Don't buy bodies, by a car with them already on. It's bloody expensive mate and the gains are ok but not planted in the back of your seat imo. You'll soon want more power.

Anyone want to buy 4 litres of diablo red (w/b)? lol I think we are going for velocity red. It's a 2 stage paint. I've got a sample of it today from work and it looks good. It's brighter and lighter than the diablo and also has a nice gold fleck to it.

I've already bought the clear coat and all materials. i've even bought the diablo red paint lol. If he says it's too dark i'm praying the paint company will take it back?

Too maroon mate, I think he's just being a fussy bugger although if it was my car i'd want the colour right. He wants it as light as possible i.e almost a solid but a metallic paint. The rx8 velocity red is the nicest and lightest I can find so far. I'm 99% confident it's metallic.

I was thinking crysler crossfire but that also looks quite dark/maroon. I think generally most metallic reds are darker than solids.

He wants a normal metallic red paint job, off any other manufacturer/car. It's pretty std looking, std gsi kit, just lowered, different wheels and exhaust.
