for some reason this corner reminds me of the dip after the first bend at brands hatch. on toca touring cars the same sort of spin would occur if you were tuning whilst in this bend. i guess the compression of the suspension amplifies the turning input.
you guys serious, if this was running and had done about 45-60k it would be worth 5-6K no?
it needs a new engine so other than springs/shocks and steering wheel not much else can go wrong with it can it?

a) your wheel are tight (dont laugh)
b) that your discs are ok (no lips and that the wear is even on the pads)
c) if there is any 'play' in your wheel, do this by jacking the car up and try wobbling the wheel (with your hands top and bottom.) if there is any its a bearing.

got this funny niose, like a grinding. coming from my driver side wheel.
its louder when im slow and seems to get quieter at speed.
not really a whurring nosie but like a circular grinding with the wheel.

respect for trying this but i cant help thinking this is gonna be more trouble than its worth.
you went from a reliable 2.0 16v 172bhp engine, which would prolly do 100k trouble free miles.
to a highly tuned 2.0 8v engine which has 175bhp, which will need a rebuild every 1000 miles...
just got home, what evers failed on my car its 50 times worse than when i left yu guys.
propper knocking and i can feel it grinding through the steering wheel.
i even went to halfords to see if they had wheel barings so i could change it today, but tey dont.
but it fails on the way to...
i saw a standard 182 with cup packs in black on sunday whilst packing my car.
