cheers guys. the plate came on the car, it was meant to be transfered to the old owner but i havent heard from him and dont want to pay the charges so just need to order up new ones , hate the england flag etc.... not had any issues with the plate but i use to have a 3/4 plate for over 3...

Artic is much nicer then RB, i looked at an rb then wanted the metallic shine :D the wheels have a sticker as the pin stripe so can come off in seconds and be changed for a different colour :) easy and cheap like 4 5 pound for all 4 wheels and spares for touch ins if it gets damaged, pm me if...

HAHHA I used 4 wooden kebab skewers and worked a treat :) but just get 2 wire coat hangers bend in to a u shape and hey presto done, then bend the hangers back again :)

where are you based? Think its a bit far but my mate owns an car audio/security shop and does installations. in coulsdon.

looks pretty cool, dont like under car lighting but if it doesnt look too in your face either so its a 50/50 thing :) install looks cool apart from the coxails... surely there not doing many favours sitting right above the sub? PLUS i think it would look alot cleaner if you done components and...

yellow is a pain, you have to get the base coat spot on or under street light you see the panel differences, easiest way is to blend into the surrounding panels but cossts a bit more but a better finish :)

powdercoating is the way forward ;) paint can chip soooo easy, ever tried to remove powder coat off a wheel? well liquid nitrous struggled hard!!!! £20 a corner is a good price, there isnt as much over head on powder coating as spraying as far as im aware and that would be the costing...

if im lucky i get 24 but norm im at the 20 mark, funny thing is once im out of traffic giving it some, the mpg goes up, so im like SWEEEET nail it and make it go further hahaa :rasp:

arent they grooved discs with very hard wearing pads? if so mine were the same setup with my old car and made alot of noise for first 100 odd miles till they bedded properly :)

i had this problem, you went some where that hooks the laser line over the tyres yeah? you need to find someone that attaches them on the front of the wheel only, hard to come by but alot do them. just hunt around GOOD places not cheap ones ;) thats what i found helped me and a low car...

thats a decent price, wont do much better, i have this unit, the orange is perfect in the clio, the usb works a treat and is packed full of features that you can add on, the bluetooth is a parrot sytem :)

just hassle they will fold eventually :)

if a 182 like mine has 12 years, the 197s wont be much different i would guess. get your hand book and check it out, get down to renault and do not accept no as an answer.... they will try get out of it but my friends with zetec s' had rusty sills, in the warranty period for the corrision...

funny you say that, i clay mine every 3 months, slightly excessive but like a clean car, showed my mate the dirt and difference a clay made to his, he now owns his own kit :) good lad you wont go back....

clio mk 3 .. (182 shapes) ? if so mine has 12 year corrosion warranty ... check your hand book and get renault to sort it, rust is cancer for cars :dead:

your not giving up? just save, you will love it once its done.... go down the old field estate, speak to bj about who is good at spraying down that estate, seen some mint jobs and cheap prices. that place u went is a rip off imo ;)
