Only difference in the 172 exhausts is the cat (early phase 1 has 1 lambda and slightly longer mid sections, later phase 1 + phase 2 has 2 lambda sensors) from what I have found is that all the exhaust are the same may just have to move the exhaust about to make it sit nicely.

With your system it will be crazy loud when flooring it but anywhere between 2.5k rpm and 3k rpm mine ain't that loud! I don't think the decat make any noticable difference on it's own but noise no performance increase, would defo b worth doing if you get a remap as well

think the 182 alloys are too pointy and have to sharper line (if that makes sense) for the roundness of the phase 1

a supersports ktec exhaust with a decat its very very loud!!! I have one on mine and it is crazy at certain revs! my mates silenced stealth definatly has a different tone, but if your decat for the pops and bangs map why not just decat it properly? the NW performance one on mine is just as good...

Go to an exhaust place ask them for a straight through center section removing the mid silencer(if it has one) get a decat fitted, and get a big rear can! Jap style or something! You will look ridiculous and will lose power as 1.2's don't like decats! But you will get what you want
