Yea, he was parked about 2 cars away from mine. Tell me you spotted mine aswell...
I think he is on here, just doesnt ever post really.
Its the newer one mate, cheers for the comment.
wasnt sure whether you guys on here would like it but the comment so far are really good, cheers.
Well, we had to do a bit of cutting to get the grille to fit as there are little flanges on it, then we had cut slots in it so that it would clip into the bumpers clips.
Then, obviously there was...
Right, this was not on my car. My mate went down to Renault a couple of weeks ago and ordered an RS lower grille thinking he would be able to fit it without a problem... however, as many of you know will know; its not that simple!
Completely different shape, clip spacing, curve of bumper etc...
They look really good, kind of a weird shape drivers mat in the 197 though.
I think i have had mine for nearly a year now from when i organised the last JustMatz group buy, they still look nearly new to this day once they have had a good clean.
Basically as title, i need a new bonnet at the moment so im not sure whether to just buy one and get it sprayed or look into getting a vented carbon fibre one, like the k-tec ones...
Anyone got any pics of what it would look like?
Cheers
Nick
Oh yea i get you with doing a job properly and all that... but surely the rear badge will pop out like the front badge? without the need to undo any bolts... i guess not.
Ill just go out and try it myself.
As said really, lose the lights, wheels and the numberplates.
Would say lose the sport badge but then i have one on my car... in the right place though.
As for lowering, you can go a lot lower than 40mm. Mine is around 90mm i think.
When is it best to use the clay?
I.e. just after i have washed it and rinsed it? Or should i dry it first and then apply the lubricant for claying?
Cheers
Nick
