Personally I wouldnt do anything to draw attention to it. Renault dont hold a central register of whos had a service done at what mileage etc. Just get it serviced (anywhere) and if you get a problem down the line, take the car to your dealer and ask them to fix it.

When I had mine re-gassed it cost £65 (172 Mk2). You dont need to have this done if the air-cons working ok - they can just kill the bugs.

Theyre supposed to inspect it and change it if its worn. The aux belt went on our Megane a while back - bit frightening, the power steering suddenly goes, followed shortly by the electrics. Id get it changed if youre worried - its only every few years after all.

No, everyone can put pics up - you need to upload it so its on the internet though - you cant post them directly from your PC.

Renault dealers can do this too - they have some stuff that kills the bacteria.

Get the carpet up and have a peek? Dont remember noticing it in my 172, but I was hardly ever a passenger.

Touch up pens make the chips the same colour as the rest of the bodywork, but theyre still there.

yeah its sortable, and no it doesnt disable the remaining airbags.

Clios seem to need re-gassing quite regularly for some reason. You should get really cold air if its working properly.

Cant understand their statement about the B&M only being available for older Clios - lots of people have had them fitted to 172s.
