Have some OZ F1 cups I have been rubbing down lately. Is it worth getting them powdercoated? I should be able to get as good a finish if I did them myself, but as I understand, they will last much longer/less prone to chips if they were powdercoated. Is this right?

Right I just want confirmation on if I'll need new dials. Everything works fine, apart from the tacho. Occasionally the needle will pop up and show my revs, but very rarely. Also occasionally it pops up but gives a dodgy reading, most of the time it's sat at 0. Therefore I get the impression...
