Slow the car down - yes, handle like a tractor - yes. Doubt 18s would go on without some modification.

If a ph1 then check the bonnet catch!! Other than that there are no real issues with them. Expect them to rattle and squeek a bit. Make sure your HPI it and check the service history etc to make sure the oil has been changed regularly and the cam belt has been done (if needed)
