If your going to do it use flash as then you can give the user the chance to turn it of. It streams in the background so it wont slow the loading of the site (if its done properly). Goto www.fashkit.com and look int he movies section. There are loads of flash files already done that do this...

What version you running, no Windows ive ever installed has had anything other than Outllok Express which is toss IMO.
