No not really. Like it has been said if your using a headunit amp standard wire will be fine. If you are amping it then there will be more power going through the wire and you might have to upgrade. at the end of the day its up to you though.
TBH i wont bother with 6x9's. They are good at making the car loud but it drags the sound stage back to much in my opinion. Better spending that money on an amp and good comps. WonkyJon on TA is doing a build for a clio pm him for a price for 6.5" comps as they will have better mid bass atleast.
Tein is usually the choice for jap cars.n its the H&R for jap cars. Usually pretty much the best main stream stuff you get. I have heard alot about it alot of people run them on 350z's and 200sx's but i personally have had no experiance with them.
lol if your getting 20-25 mpg your driving with your handbrake on surely? Thats very very thirsty for a 2l in a small car. My bros 3 fiddy zee gets 20-24 around town and 26-28 on motorway.
Re: Speakers for 182
phase? never heard of them personally and i would stay away personally. Them adapters you have linked to are for mk1 and for the rear shelf. Personally bang up you own your own baffles or buy the ones from ebay that are 5.25inch. Go for well mades and known companies. Also...
on most cars induction kits dont make much difference but imo they liven up the response and plus you get a nice sound. As long as you dont lose power then your laughing.
Saw one 172 in blue really really noice, i think a woman was driving it and it was followed by a black clio with a cliosport sticker. Near tesco dont know what the road is called carnie road maybe?
imo its worth putting in v power as for a tank ful its like 2pound more expensive plus i have the shiny red drivers car so you get one 1p off per litre anyway.
my 172 has the same problem. Apparently there is something in there that is made from plastic instead of metal. Gearbox oil change makes a big difference but then it will come back,
