Well im 30 and have been driving since 17.. only ever had 2 SP30s one of which runs out in December this year.. 41 in a 30.. (the other ones was about 10 yrs ago..) im hoping for 5/6 points + fine.. + im gonna enquire about the "driver awareness" course which can sometimes make a difference..

If i was you, id deff take it to Renault..! My dad had a massive one in his LR Discovery a few years ago.. he had it repaired by a repair place as recomeded by the insurance co.. they completey f**ked it.. lights didnt work.., water leaks.. obviously its an extreme case as he got hit up the...

I agree with Eddd.. I Heel & Toe all the time.. well.. 99% of the time anyway..:D.. not only saves, clutches, etc.. but dosent upset the car before turn in.. which makes the whole process a lot smoother.. Its one of those tasks that you think you will "Never" get the hang of.. until one day...

Its nothing to do with vanity, but to do with the better driving position.(because of this -> better car control). However im still not 100% about doing it yet..?!? Especially as it disables the passenger side as well. Fred.. Thanks.

yeah.. i did hear that the passenger side wont work.. and light may stay on.. apparently it has to be isolated as well.. otheriwse it may go off..

Has anyone done the above.. How did you dsconect the airbag.. is it just a plug/conector..? I take t that once the wheel is removed a seperate boss is required (although not always the case with all cars) to mount the new wheel.. eg. MOMO fitting.. ive swapped loads of s wheels before but...

Blimey.. I feel really old reading this.. 30Yrs young;).. but was paying nearly 2k :cry: insurance for my 1.9 GTI when i was 19 (But then thats the price you pay if youre into your cars.), bought my Scoob when i was 24 and cained it for 3 years before buying and renovating our current house...

Has anyone uprated their light bulbs.. from the standard rating.. On all my cars ive always upped the W to give better visibilty, from standard 55/60w to 80/100w, etc.. Clios have plastic lights/lenses.. am worried that it could affect them.. Anyone else tried this.. James

The culprit was a dodgy Temperature sensor.. all fixed now...:)

Kent - Sussex Borders.. Saw loads of 172 at the weekend.. Tenterden, Tunbridge Wells, A21, etc.. I was the one in the CUP with the grin from ear to ear.. :cool: (only picked it up on friday..)
