The top right one, when I removed the car was exactly the same with it plugged in, but the other three, when I removed them and tried to start the engine it was really really struggling, its either the coil pack, that cable or the spark plug.
Sparks were arcing when it was removed so i dunno if...
I've checking my coil pack first, bought a new one from 24-7breakers. Should arrive tomorrow. I have the same issues, as if its only running on 3 cylinders!! Addling the engine wobbles forwards and backwards!!
I don't know what plugs!!!
Had a service done at this random garage in Portsmouth as it was in for its MOT. It had hight emissions then and was overfuelling. I then took it to Ren-Tech and he changed the oxygen sensor. I bought a coil pack for 14.99 +VAT and Delivery from 24-7 breakers, should...
Just checked the HT leads from the Coil pack and they look ok, not too dirty, wiped them and put them back in, ran up and was the same problem. Is there a way of testing the coil pack.
sorry for stealing this thread, but where abouts is the coil pack, i'm going to take the plastic cover of the engine in a few hours. To check my ht leads (don't even know what they look like) so any help and hints would be great as I have EXACTLY the same problem as the creator of this thread.
Its booked into Ren-Tech on Monday, I feel like i'm never away from the place!!!
How much do leads cost?
What leads are you talking about anyway?
Thanks in advance.
Got back last night from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough, was on the M1 doing about 90mph then the emissions light started to flash. Thought nothing of it, as the car was still accelerating and decelerating. But I had to slow down to 60 due to the fog, when I tried to accelerate it was very jumpy...
thanks, what about Fog Lights?
I have forgot, I bought some good ones which are the same colour as the main headlights, but one has exploded for some reason, so need to buy a pair of them.
nah disconected it and it stay on instead of flashing, revved it up and it was bubbly/juddering. Connected it back up and everything was the same except for the emissions light flashing.
Will it knack the engine if I continue to drive it like this?
I was driving from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough. Had an hour left lol, didn't want to break down, like I said, it cleared for about 30 min then it re-appeared and has been there ever since!!!
A year ago I drove over some debri on the motorway and it unclipped some connection (breaking it) under...
Yeah its standard, I've done nothing to the engine at all. The ---h has gone now after I reset it and I've just drove about for 10 min and its ---- still so I don't know if the ---h was sporadic. The flashing emissions light still happens, and the engine sounds bubbly with not a lot of power at all.

I'm thinking about upgrading my current radio as i'd just like something different but I can't find ONE radio which is better than it. I have the Blaupunkt DAB54 and its quality. It has FM/AM DAB, SD reader, plays mp3s cds. It al build into it so you don't need a little box for the DAB.
I...
Things keep going wrong with it at the moment the past 3 months i've spent about £4,000 altogether with mot failing, suspension arm braking, alternator dying. I hired a Audi A4 last weekend, it was an estate (avant) and it was an automatic, was a lovely car. I was looking at how much it would...
Yeah it was the same with the car running.
Booked it into Ren-Tech to get fixed. Went to Halfords they don't hold it in stock. Ren-tech said their are a few different varieties for the 182. Surely the should be just 1 type for the 182, not seven!!
Got into my car yesterday and it was juddering, and I stalled it twice. Also when I drove it about 500 yards to another car park when it was idling, the dashboard was dimming then returning to normal then dimming again going in sync with the engine. Then the battery light came on with the stop...

mine does this and always has, especially coming off the M40 into Warwick services, there is a strip of resurfacing which has sunk and is about 2cm lower than the road surface.
