yeah agree with that one, yeah i changed the pads, they were fooked to say the least and the disc isnt lookin to healthy so going to order new discs/pads but its on the road again and stopping lol
i had a guy in work claiming for all sorts of repairs on his vx220 was covered in stones thanks to our insured, after a told him i used to be a panel beater/painter he quickly changed his story to oh the damage might have already been there.
simply got caught out, and we always run the costs...
standards the now, will upgrade later.
i think il get away with the pads i took the wheel off it last night and the disc isnt scored/looked warp
il have a closer look today at the caliper and see what the script is, i went to gsf and got a set of pads, if the disc is fooked il go back and...
nah mate i was coming off the motorway and went to hit the brakes for the roundabout at the end of the slip road and it was working fine then it just started grinding so pulled inand they wouldnt work
clio decided that it had enough tonight, drivers side pads fooked up on the brakes left me with none what so ever.
trip to gsf for new brakes tommorow then :(
nah mate a got what you said, just tryin to save you the hassle of fuckin it up and needin to get it done else where
IMO doing small bits i.e diamond badges etc can be done with rattle cans but i wouldnt take the risk on something major
save up and get it done properly no point in doin the same job twice if you mess up
or get someone on her that can spray (seen a few people offering the service) to do it on the cheap
Time to put the clio in for its service, i was told when i bought it the belts were done but tbh i dont believe them cause the book wasnt stamped and im not prepared to take the risk. so looking to buy the bits and pieces myself then just get the garage to fit them all at once so i know i need...

try my renewal with admiral - paid £2000 for my insurance when i first got the car then the renewal came through the door at £5500 no claims/convictions i mean wtf
