Fixed
Removed the aerial and cleared off what appeared to be some sealent (poorly done).
Used black silicone sealent to reseal everything (think its now airtight not only water-tight lol!) and cleaned off the excess as it dried.
Can someone tell me what kind of gains they got and exactly what the rstuner maps change about the k4m engine?
I'm considering getting one soon, unlocking it and mapping my car on the cheap and have a catback/induction kit. Would I notice any difference?
Noticed a bit of water/dampness in the interior light/sunroof control panel with the recent wet weather.
Car is a mk2ph1 and I have an electric sunroof. I'm hoping theres a quick and easy fix?
Whats wrong?
Been shopping around for a few days, numerous companies called. Its the same price to insure my 1.6 16v with the following modifications:
- Exhaust
- Induction kit
- Stereo
- Alloys
As it is for a standard Ph1 172. Wtf!?
It might be the perfect chance to upgrade to a sport...
Its the complete mount. Metal bit and rubber brush.
I got discount too, was £18 altogether with VAT.
I recommend everyone buy a new one! Having it fitted tomorrow!
Having done a bit more research, it seems that a blowing exhaust can adversely affect performance by quite a bit!
So whats the best solution for this? New clamp and reseal with more sealent? Or should I get it patched/wrapped?
