Went to my local Renault Dealer today to get some touch up paint as i have a stone chip on my door and they dont do one. Typical Renault.
They also have a crashed Cup in the bodyshop and the sales guy says the car maybe written off as Renault are not availlable to supply spares until end...
Has anybody lowered there Cup yet as i like the handling of the car but the front looks to high.
I know you can get springs for the 172 but the spring rates are different for the Cup.
Cheers:confused:
When your free insurance is up and you dont have a claim if you re-insure with Renault UK Insurance (which is the same company as Tesco Direct Line and Privelage) they award you with full no claims but only if you re insure with them.
When my Coupe came up for renewal i had quotes of £800 then...

I think the box to use would be the new Megane 2.0 as it comes with a 6 speed box as standard.
Being a 2.0 the engine might be the same as the 172 but it only produces 136bhp.
Have not had the chance to look at one yet. Waiting for the dealerto get one in.
Thought i would give my car a good clean today and noticed that my front tyres looked a bit worn. My car now has 980 miles on the clock and there is 3mm of tread missing.
I have run the car in but 500 miles plus have been on the motorway.
Just wondered if any other Cup owners have noticed...

Mine is three weeks old on saturday and now done 780 miles and getting quicker all the time.
I cannot fault the car as it is very quick handles well. Its great at suprising Corsa & Nova drivers as the try to overtake you then you drop it down a gear and leave them on the wrong side of the road...

The Blue of the V6 is Mondial Blue same colour as the clio cup.
Looks like Mondial blue has taken over from Monaco blue that only the sporty Renaults were done in.

Taken my Cup for its first proper run today and just wantd to know if it has an LSD.
I have noticed that when in first and second at low speeds, when i press the go pedal both the front wheels start to spin and the same on coming out of bends as well where usualy only the inside wheel spins...
I put my Cup on the weighbridge where i was working today 1080kgs but take away 70kgs for me and another 5 of so for my tools. It had about three quarters of a tank of fuel.

The rear seat is already a lighter one as it has no split fold or head rests plus the cente seat belt has also been removed.
Sound proofing has been minimised.
First thing i did was to remove the jack as dont see much point of it if you dont get a spare!!!!!!!!

I taped the program to see what they said about the Clio Cup as i am picking mine up this Saturday.
Takes the piss when Tiff said that it did not come with anything like ABS etc, but thats the point of the car. Then he said that the Civic is a real car as it is a non turbo, then he says how...
