Well it's not really rake, but people call it that. Higher profile tyre at the back than the front will make the car sit slightly nose down, but not enough to notice with 50/55.
Where's cheapest / best? Also need new sliders, bolts and seals as my current ones are seized, rusty and perished. Are these dealer only or specialists sell them too?
Do either of these rear springs look correct for the Cup (ones got many more coils than the other)? I'm guessing that since the former owner put Unipart brake pads in, he probably just put random coil springs in too.

I've wondered this. Think it's had non standard suspension bits replaced which would be a touch annoying, but not the end of the world at the price. Will get under tomorrow and have a look. The exhaust does look fairly comedy but sounds good. I like the standard look, so will prob just take...
Having been a CS member for over five years, I thought it was about time I picked up an RS. My little 1.2 was a pig and I vowed never to own another Clio again - but hopefully that's the end of the problems. Had a Mondeo TDCi in the interim, that I used to tow the XR2, great big comfy barge...
Re: MX-5 at Oulton Park (Trackday, quite a lot of sideways action, then some dry laps
Some great driving and a load of fun - but remember hands at quarter to three all the time, no leg resting ;)
