they didnt literaly just drop off... they were getting ner to beeing in need of change and clamped on and when i let of the brake the pins holding them in broke and they shot off... thing is i think they have taken off the balancing weights that are on the inside of the wheel when clatering...

did u have propper screen wash in the bottle that has some antifreexe in it...

Well i can confirm having your rear pads fall out at high speed while trying to brake is very scairy to say the least...

i pulled my valver gearnob off ages ago now it just spinns around... lol

One really bad thing with the GTi that would really put me off is the interior... IMO it is horrible and V.Cheep and seeing as thats where u spend all ur time would make it very hard for me to buy one over the 16v

Nope dont think theres much more that can break on my car... but even when it does... the enjoyment i get out of it and the amound of so called hot hatches it can make look a little silly is great...
