Agree with Griff, could be that the profile is being created for that user, applying settings and creating the desktop etc. Does it happen every time you log on? Could also be that the updates are being completed after the reboot, try rebooting without applying any updates or making any...

Just if you havent already noticed, iTunes 7.2 is out now and it works on Vista aswell. It also has something called iTunes plus too, which I think for 20p more allows you download music that doent have any DRM on them. Havent really read up on this though.

Yep their around, had one before the 197, great little engine. Not quite as common as like you say the 1.2 or diesels.

Crucial are a popular and quality manufacturer. Prices have dropped dramatically, I have been watching some memory for my laptop which ha dropped from £120 to £58 in 2 months. Have ordered many times from crucial for home and work, very fast delivery.

I'll agree with that, doing the same speed in my old 1.4 Dynamique the 197 is only revving about 200 rpm more, not really enough to make enough noise to bother you. Even if it does the exhaust note sounds great anyway :cool:

Seems about right just pootling around at 23 mpg, on the motorway however it seems it vary quite abit, of course depending on distance and speed but i reckon on average on the motorway you will get from high 20's to mid 30's. Agree with your second point though, if your looking at mpg figures...

At the moment just about town going from home to work, a round trip of about 10 miles I'm getting about 23-24 mpg. On the motorway getting about 27-30ish. Averaging about 250 miles per tank. In 5 weeks I've filled up 4 times, 3 of V-power and one of Ultimate. Loving the car though, looks...

I had the rear tints option on my 197 and it doesnt have the elf sticker or the clio 5 star rating sticker that other mkIII's get. Took me a couple of weeks to notice, cant say i'm bothered.

Ahh that makes sense, good point. By the time I ordered, early 2005, Xenons were well established on the 172 & 182's so probably less exclusive.

Dont think they were £500, I'm sure they were only about £375 when I had them factory fitted when I ordered my old Dynamique, heck I paid £500 for them on the 197. ^^^ Factory fitted Xenon option with headlight washers. Chris

106 GTI's look great, my mate has one. Last year we gave it a polish with SSR2, layer of EGP followed up with a layer of P21s, the shine looked so deep after it was gorgeous.

Really liked the look of the Mk2's when they first came out but at that time I was only about 14. When I learnt to drive I soon got my first clio, a 2001 Dynamique, followed a year later to a brand new 2005 Dynamique which was eventually sold last month for the 197. They keep getting better...

Splitter comes in 2 halfs in the back of the car and is attached during the PDI. I guess the Megane is'nt more expensive as its already been registered. Dont really mind the decals to be honest but I would deffo not have the roof one if I ordered the R27 !!! Chris

Heres my AVIC in my old Dynamique, soon to be moved over to the 197. To go with this I had the IPod adapter and have just ordered the hands free bluetooth adapter for it too. Navigates pretty much as well as a latest TOM TOM, for speed cameras I use an Origin B2. Heres the rest...

They dont, they have a projector lens on the headlight and a normal halogen filament bulb behind, hence no need for washers, auto levelers. Correct me if I'm wrong Brian :) Chris
