Sounds like you're in novice mode, if you up it to semi pro it stops the game 'helping' you out of the pits. If you're not in novice mode it might be worth letting the guy who converted the track know, might be a bug.

I use Grabclipsave, its a little program that works when you press print screen, and it'll save it into a .bmp, .png or .jpeg file in the folder of you choice. I've stuck it up for you if you're interested( sorry about the rapidshare link, best I could find after I forgot the PW for my own ftp...

I've figured it out, it was from an online event and it was what they call a warp lap. They've just deleted a load of time over at gtr2rank because of it. So I've just ran it again only managed 1m07.345

Now thats what I thought, the only other thing I can think of is GTR has done a GTL and mixed up the lap times. Un-modded Beemer though.

Not done Donny Gp since my reinstall but have done some laps at Donny National. Dunno why I'm faster in a Beemer though. (All aids OFF).

Some tracks have another line that needs changing, maybe thats the problem: MASFile=TEAMMAPS.gtl Needs to be : MASFile=TEAMMAPS2.gtr

I should probably stop messing with the games inners workings and get round to driving it. :)

Yup, it can be if you don't mind loosing the reflections on the track in the rain, and sometimes the race goes funny with the pace car, but if you're hot lapping it'll be fine. Goto No Grip to the downloads sction for GTL tracks and get the version of Laguna Seca thats there. Once you've got it...

Worked for me, try downloading this file --->Leads to no-grip.net. You will have to register to download. You can get extra tracks there too.

If you want the tracks but can't be bothered unlocking them, open notepad but don't type anything and save as SDNDTG.DYN(make sure the file extension is .DYN and not SDNDTG.DYN.txt) and drop it in the main GTR2 folder. Job's a good 'un all the tracks.

I'd go with Saints Row(Infact I'm gonna get it tomorrow, maybe Dead Rising too after playing the demo :) ). Test drive looks like it's going to be a bit boring IMO.

I dunno if you know about this but I'll post anyway, go over to Race Sim Central forums Link here and have a look in the GTL section, you can get new car skins and download new tracks, including the Nordschliefe.

Try the tilde key, the one to the left of the 1 key. Thats what my console key is in most games.

No, shouldn't be anything in the prefix box that was added so you could add clan tags before your name. Maybe it's a firewall setting as now the program is different you may need to set the rules in the firewall again.
