I'm thinking about cutting out the connectors altogether now.
Is there a guide anywhere to make sure I wire up the right wires to one another? I've tried searching but sifting through 1million results is really time consuming.
I was thinking of sending it away to one of the ebay airbag ECU clearer places for £25. I'm not sure if its worth while to do yet until I find out if there's still a dead connection, hence why I was trying to do a diagnostics first.
If there was a dead connection still, I guess the ECU would...
I managed to get a copy of PCMScan working. This said there were no errors being read. Should I trust PCMScan?
I've been reading about Clip so I need to find a garage to do that. Ideally I'd like to sort it on the driveway if I can.
Got myself a clio last winter. The airbag light and SERV have been on for ages.
Discovered the wires under the seat had been cut. So I've now re-connected and soldered them all.
The lights are both still on...
What should be the next step? I've been reading about diagnostics. I have an OBD...
Cool! So where is it supposed to live? or does it not really matter? The clip looks like its a bit snapped.
My only concern is the airbags being affected but I guess this has nothing to do with it.
Its coming from under the drivers seat. That long metal bit presses down a bit like a lever on a small button that you can just about make out where it bends at a right angle.
I've been sorting out the wiring in my Dynamique under the seats. The last owner had cut the cables rather than unplugging the seats properly...
Anyway I found this switch on the drivers side, but I'm not sure what it is.
Can anyone help?
Part numbers on it say:
P8tgf30
8503901/g
My clio's been leaking a bit in the rain. I'm yet to do the sunroof fix, but I noticed the clock flickering on and off.
Even with the key out the ignition, and the car locked the orange display illuminates a wee bit every now and again. It also looks like its just from one side..
Any ideas...
Picked up some 15" Mk3 alloys from another member (thanks jack).
Found a set of 185/60/15 tyres that I've put on them in the meantime. The car's also lowered on some springs - unsure what make but I'm guessing around 40mm.
Will I be ok running this tyre size? I am getting a bit of rubbing on...
I got the bottom one off but the top is being a pain. The junior hacksaw I got just blunted.... haha.
The top bolt seems to be totally deformed with rust. I've got rust gel remover on there just now to soak in. Its mega awkward to get at aswell. I have a gasket ready to go on though.
Once...
This is the join between my downpipe and exhaust. It's not a sealed join and so its blowing.
Whats the best way to repair this? The bolts in there are really rusted.. I'
I'm no expert on exhausts and wanted to hear what other people might think.
thanks!
AA guy came round. Charged the battery and gave it a good boost. Managed to start. Think it might have been the alarm cutting in because of thw low battery.
I have no idea what model number it is. :( The key fob has one green and one black button.
On the sticker on the back it says:
CEPT LPD-D
CE 0125 (!)
Type EL 433.92MHz
Toad Security
Recently bought a hybrid mk1 as a project.
Had the car on axle stands for about a week. Got it back on its wheels and wanted to take it on a drive, but when I turned the key nothing happened. I removed the keys and the toad alarm started clicking the same sound as it does when you unlock the...
What a rubbish day. Raining non stop and my bleed nipple broke on the rear driverside caliper. It was brand new as well!
Luckily I'ts attatched to another bolt before meeting the caliper. Does anyone know what this bolt is called? Ill need to find a replacement.
Can I use this bolt as a...
Ok. PM me a price if you like! I'm thinking the ebay route at the moment. Unless you came up before the 30th of this month you'd have to tow it home. MOT runs out then.
The Neds and Emos night itself is basically a night where you dress up as a Ned or an Emo. The club is dressed up in burberry...
Before you all start thinking "What a Chav!", you're halfway there!
I'm running a Neds and Emos theme night at my students union at the end of this month. I had a brainwave and thought, why not use a chavvy car to promote it?, why not use a burberry car!?
So I set out to find a car for under...
Mums finally decided she wants a new tv. (HDTV) but nothing too big. and a budget of 250.
Youve done me proud before cliosporters, find me a bargain!

if you have it plugged in with the control lead, the way mine works is by pressing the magnifying glass button, selecting what you want with the volume control and the play button select.
easy peasy
