Ive just got some Monitor Audio BX2's, sound brilliant. Under your budget too at £250 ish. It all depends what type of music you listen to, I demo'd some B&W's and as above... seemed to respond well to electronic/dance music but thats not really what I listen to. The M/A's are quite well...

Brilliant place. Definitely going next year again, a little later though... we just saw them putting up the decorations, left 3 days before the switch on... devestated!

I've got Klipsch Image Ones. Nice over ear headphones, not too big and sound great. Can get them from the Apple store or Amazon for a decent price these days.

Take back what I said about Richer Sounds, I could have sworn they had plinths on. Turns out it is me who's the donkey... I've flipped them around now. Lulz bloody internetz fail

It appears that the bright sparks at richer sounds have mounted my plinths upside down on the speakers. Brilliant LOL
