I was driving to work today and when I was at traffic lights the service, ABS and traction control lights all came on. I kept driving the car and it didn't drive any different. I stopped and turned the car off then turned it back on and all the lights had gone off, anyone know what would cause this?
Im going to be fitting my sportlines in a few days and I'm just wondering which way up the spring goes? I know they are progressivly wound but do the coils that are closest together go at the top or bottom?

So I'm now looking to upgrade the suspension on my 182 and have found out due to the bolt spacing coilovers are hard to find. Options I've found so far are :
1. pro/sportline springs, standard shocks, whiteline arb £300
2. fk coilovers and get the strut machined £600-£700 (I think)

I had a set of these on my saxo only for a week though. They were quite good what do people think of them on the Clio? I usually ignore ebc when it came to brakes but alot of the saxo guys were raving about them and there cheaper than the pads they are ment to be as good as.
What's involved in changing the spacing from a set of coilovers from the smaller bolt hole spacing to the cup packs size? What have people done on there's? I would take them to machine shop and get them to do it but just looking to find out how it's been done before? Is the original hole filled...

Can I use 182 cup wheels on them with no problems?

I'm thinking of running fk konigsport coilovers and 172 hubs using standard 182 cup pack wheels.
Saw this yesterday at half 4 at roseburn beside the kenny Dunn garage, looked like it was being driven by a mechanic etc as it had one of those plastic bag seat covers.
I got a chip in my windscreen 1 day after owning my car it's a tiny chip with a crack that runs through it about 1cm in length. Crack is huge compaired to the circular chip.
Will this fail an mot? It's straight in font on me as I sit in the driverseat.
Quick question I have a 54 plate 182 will it have the twisted dogbone mount or just the inline dogbone mount? I'm wanting to buy uprated bushes but I'm unsure on which ones to get and my car is at the garage so I can't check.

Why did Renault decide to make the inlet manifold go back over the top of the engine and have the tb at the back away from cool air? Why didn't they use a similar design to the jms intake? Any obvious reasons? Only thing I could think is it would get in the way when doing an oil filter change...
