Fair enough, have to admin the velcro was bought and on the car before I tipped the packet up to find the fixings from fancy plates fall out of the other end, so never actually tried them!
This ^^^^
I didn't trust the pads that cam from fancy plates but I may be wrong. They also provide yellow, black and white screw end caps if you decide to screw them in.
Gave the seats a shave, got rid of a stain in the drivers seat, re glued the thumb grip. Located where the exhaust was blowing. Got new plates delivered. Successful morning!
Ive got some Eibach Sportlines (just the front two) which would fit your cup. As far as I'm aware you will need specific springs ie suitable for Renaultsport Clios, but springs are transferable between 1*2's. The springs are brand new (still in the box). I needed to buy a full set after needing...
This happened to me with my Mac Book, it was a failed hard drive. Lost the lot I'm afraid. There is some stuff he might be able to do via entering short cuts mac + a etc, but I cant remember what they were, mac forums are normally pretty good for advice. Good luck!
I have noticed that the rear bumper on my 182 doesn't fit flush to the light cluster/body work on the right hand side....
RIGHT:
The left hand side is looks like it should to me with no gap:
LEFT:
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to sort it or why it might be like that?
Also could it...
Great wheels. I'm intersted to see what they might look like. Got to be the only thing fast car magazine was useful for actual alloy tests on standard cars.
Hi Mike I have a non cup pack'd 182 with Eibach Sportlines, imo there low enough, give a good stance and the ride is fine. The cup spoiler has never bothered me, too much else on the list to get before that becomes a priority unless it was really cheap. Good luck with the car.
Im getting about 30/31mpg going from Leeds to work but thats all stop start with a little bit of dual carriageway. Drove back from Derbyshire today and got 41mpg so I can't complain.
Think I'm going to buy some Uniroyal Rainsports, look like a good choice for this time of year. Any opinions on driving with the tyre in it's current state? They will be changed asap, ordered from Camskill today, but in the mean time what would people do?
Thanks for your help. Looks like I'm off to buy a set of tyres then! Any suggestions on a good winter tyre? I have seen the tyre poll but wondered if there are any in that list that are particularly good for winter conditions. cheers Nick
Got to work today to find a inch long gash in the tyre wall of the front left;
The fronts are Pirelli PZero, and the rears are Yoko A539.
Should I swap the tyre like for like? Would there be any implications on handling etc if I were to put a Pilot Exalto on as a replacement?
...commuting to from Leeds to Bradford unfortunately.
Hi all, been looking around the forum for a few weeks now after trying to get some advice on buying a 172/182. Time has been called on the trusty fiesta finesse and now I have some no claims etc it's about time I got something worth driving...
