    Tyre/rpm relation question.

    Isn't your car lowered? I doubt there would be enough room under the arch to increase the tyre diameter enough for it make a real difference to economy/ride quailty. Sam

    Cheers for those that helped. I have now found the source of the weird noises. It is the exhaust between the engine and the cat. I drove to Bedford today (150 mile round trip) and when I got home it had got so bad I was feeling light headed due to the fumes! Basically what is the part...

    Mechanical Problem with Dynamique

    I have just been out in it again. It never happens when the clutch is depressed and it is worse in high gears. Would it deffo happen all the time if its an exhaust? Ditz - does it sound like a chugging sort of sound?

    How can I check the ARB? I am sure its coming from the Engine though Edde? And when the clutch is depressed (when driving) there is no noise at all?

    How much you think its worth?

    Standard - 3000 - will sell quickly Standard - 3200 - will take a little longer but should sell As it is - 3500 to 3600. If I were you I would deffo sell the alloys, interior, bump strips and Fks. Sam

    Posted last night about this problem but I have been under the car to check it all out a little since. Basically I am confident it is not anything knocking against the wheels or dragging on the floor etc... It is definetly something mechanical but as the noise only happens in gear it is hard...
