the phase one stalk basically already has connectors on for a horn, all you need to do, from what i can see, is basically connect up the existing horn wires in your boss to the stalk, by feeding them back down into the cowl on the steering column. i think anyway, will do a guide when i evntually...
mot times its just a case of swapping back the wheels over. im only going to wire it up if i get a ph1 stalk. not worth the risk. theres no one peice of info on here that tells you why it happens, and what can be done to avoid it.
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
looks good :) but theres no way in hell i'd of done my wheel without disconnecting the battery! i like having skin on my face.
noooooooo dont do that ^^^
ive just gone away from that. looks much better as it is.
and as for being rare, either well played my friend, or wake up and pay attention! delete as appropriate.
worth it for the discounts alone, never mind the guides that only the special people have access too.
for how ever much it is, its not worth thinking about.
been the best forum for useful (and useless) information i think ive used.
swapped wheels back over for the last one....and then had a change of heart afterwards and put the sparco back on as it felt like driving a bus otherwise. will sort it for the next MOT.
it wont happen again as most likey the horn wires are fried now.....
the threads basically detail what happens when you connect up the existing horn wiring to the centre push of an aftermarket wheel. i've had no horn for the last yr or so as there is no conclusive way or gettting it working...
exactly my thinking, posted the same in the other thread.
its all well and good them being cheaper than standard shocks, but if they make it handle worse than standard. i dont see the point. dont get me wrong im tempted as my shocks are nakered, im just keen to see some peoples, who know what...

i agree with part of that, but, they can make a car that handles well, and is predictable etc into something that handles woefully and understeers / oversteers and generally handles like s**t. not saying these will but, for the price its what you'd expect.
my shocks are nakered also but im not convinced. just picked up a set of rears for £50 second hand, that are about 2 months old. i'l keep an eye out for a set of fronts that come up for sale.
i was initially tempted as the thought of having new shocks and a lower car for £160ish appeals to me...
