Progress so far on my Megane, didn't realise the door had so many dents lol. I'll hopefully get it back on Tuesday or Wednesday. Looking forward to finally having perfect mechanicals and bodywork :grinning:

Update... Went on track at Origine RS at Goodwood last August Ripped all the teeth off 5th gear so needed a third gearbox rebuild Hit a pigeon and bumper broke where it had previously been damaged by cones at Castle Combe Reversed into a post and damaged the rear bumper Buy front and rear...

I've messaged Surrey Rolling Road to see what dates they have in September or October. I'll start a new thread once I have them. I want to see what the M2 or Fabia does :tonguewink:

Yes, if we can get 10 to 15 people to run then I can organise another day. I've not run my Megane for ages so I'm interested in seeing what it's making.

@SharkyUK I know someone who has all the skills needed to finish your car off. He would easily be able to finish it and is the only person I trust to work on my Megane now. I know you would like Mike to finish it but that doesn't sound realistic to me now he's a full time train driver.

It's a yaw sensor for the ESP.

I don't think the V6 will drop in value so your money would be quite safe if you buy the right car. Not sure if Duncan (admin on V6Clio.net) @ddouble still logs on to CS but he is man to talk to if you're looking for one.

You would be surprised. The pistons in my original engine had ringlands with big chunks missing and only sign of any problem was it used oil. The only reason I rebuilt the engine was because the gearbox went otherwise I would have continued to just top the oil up 😂

They seem quite self explanatory to me. Why didn't you ask about them to the MOT tester?
