Finally getting a new one for my valver this week and was wondering if its simple enough to fit it as im quite skint! Has anyone done it themselves and whats involved - i take it the engine doesnt need to come out?!

Is this possible? When blasting it round town it almost revs drop to about 500rpm when i pull up to a junction when im hard on brakes, stereo on after accelerating hard so im thinking its struggling for power. It got a new alternator and i dont remember it doing this before then....any thoughts?

My valver has done 130k now and before i do anything else to it i want a new box and clutch in it. Whats the best options overall to go for and how much is it gonna cost? Itll need to be able to handle about 250bhp max....

...Winter! :) Was about 9-11 degrees the other night and feck me - what a difference! It pulls mentally beyond 5k rpm....quite unreal! Currently got a replacement element for my orig. airbox on order so if it offers the same performance as the cold does for the K&N im gonna be god on the roads!

Due to get my valver back today from the garage and theyre bleating about the pump being noisy but i cant afford to change it right now so.... Is there anything i can do to quieten it down in the meantime (mechanical or fluid wise)?? thanks!
