Hi, Dont shoot me where I stand but as my car isnt really a performance car there isnt much worrying about loosing power putting 18s on. So my question is can I fit 18" wheels on my Mrk 2 and if so how much should I lower by? Cheers.

eer yes...I realise it isnt the most accurate way.

I tryed timing my 1.4 16v and got 9.63 secs does that sound right? In parkers.co.uk it states 10.2. All Ive done is put an induction kit on there but I keep reading that induction kits dont make any difference.

To be honest ABS comes in very handy when driving at speed, maybe that makes me a bad driver but it good to rely on when you need it.

Funny enough my car has horrible hesitation problems when the engine is warm. When Im hitting 2000 - 3000 + revs the car hesitates quite badly, any ideas to what that is? P.S. Apologies for posting in the wrong forum.

On my phase 1 clio the oil reading comes up full when I start the engine when its cold. If Ive been driving a while, turn off the engine, and start it again I lose three naughts (or whatever they are). Is this normal or am I low on oil? The dip stick level is just below the full mark. Cheers.
