oh right!! thank you very much. so its a self fix thing if i get the right tools? and is it recommended that i drive it while i have tightened them with the `pointless rench`?
Wheel nuts on my clio keep making a clunking sound when driving, i stopped to check everything and realised my wheel nuts where very loose so i tightened them up (very tight). was fine for a day or two until the noise came back later on this evening. Checked the alloys again and they had come...
im thinking of doing the same to my replica. i would rather have it built not bought, makes it more special in my eyes. Who are you going to get to do the conversion or are you doing it yourself?
I am 18 and currently in my second year of driving now (1st year on my own insurance) drove my mums clio 1.2 for a year then decided to get my own.
I worked my arse off trying to save for a new car and decided to get this little beast!! 48,000 miles. Managed to barter the private seller down...
I have a 1.2 16v clio.......... 2,158 pounds for 10 months to insure :). think your self lucky. i got a quote for a 1.6.... 3,700 pounds. and a 2.0l..... 6,540!!
all sorted thanks guys! cost 182 pounds. think the garage charged that amount to rub in the fact my car is only a replica!! and not a 182. coil packs, spark plugs and some technical thing that mark5290 mentioned.
Just got a phone call of the garage man as my car has been taken in for misfire problems, initial thort was sparks and coil packs, didnt have time to change myself due to work but the phone call said that ECU has a slight problem. the car is a 1.2 16v 2002. any ideas on price for new ECU/fix...
its building a car my own way, im enjoying it. it works out about the same price anyway so why not. i understand i wont have traction control, leather seats and cruise control. i dont have to fill it up as much, its cheaper to insure, cheaper to tax and no risks of speeding!! i like the fact...
haha, i ment 5,000. that includes mot`s and repairs etc. none have been resprayed. all were black when i bought them. wanting to get a respray on the whole car. white seems like a cool idea.
not the best pictures as they were taken on my phone and in the wet. let me know what you think! nothing too harsh on the 2.0 badges as its raining and i dont want to go out and change them just yet.
haha. cheers guys. the badges are now coming off. i just needed the persuasion. i thort it looked good. car has been cleaned and polished ready for some snaps tomorrow. was called into work today therefor didnt have the time. some good news came through today that i may be getting a few bob in...
car is now complete on the outside. looking for interior and maybe engine. i will get pictures up tomorrow. would also appreciate comments (good or bad)
does not have spacers. and the 2.0 badges are there because it is a replica. its like putting the sport badges on. i dont drive it like a...
