Lol so can I assume I'm good
To prime then if I've used to low a grade lol... will I give it a wet 1200 before primering? Surely using a low grade paper won't matter once I've primered and wet Andes that down ??? I need to...
Hey
Guys... in process if sanding down bumper...
using 40 grit sandpaper got higher grades aswell as some 1200 wet and dry for afters
My question is when do I know I've sanded enough and ready to start priming?
cheers
I just put some 40mm fk automotive springs in my Clio at the weekend... Easy enough to fit and gave a good drop... People say that handling is shot with them but I don't do track days just for driving about and I notice no difference and think they're fine... 60 euros plus 15 euros postage...
me and my mate done this the other day. we couldnt get a swan neck spanner for love nor money...
we improvised using the 21mm head from a ratchet that wasnt completed round but angled. it that makes sense.... then we used mould grips to grab onto that.... and we stuck the hex key through the...
no. I was following the guide and it says compress to the point where you can freely move the spring about in the strut... Tbh after I compressed it and it still wasn't loose I was abit wary to start loosening the nut for fear of death by
Spring.. You reckon I should have just opened
It then? If...
When u say no pressure u mean when I can move it about freely in the strut thing? I was thinking of buying another set of spring compressers to help... think it would
cheap ones lol like two big long screws both with the clips on them that tighter around the spring , pretty
Much the same
Ones that the guy uses in the guide... Just
Couldn't get the spring
To
Compress enough to remove it nightmare
Hi guys was lowering my car today... Rear went according to plan... Follows the guide and had no real issue
tool the front spring out and couldn't get the f**king spring to uncompress.... Spent about a hour f**king about with it and finally gave up and reassembled the strut and put my wheel...

hopefully ill be ok running 10mm...
yeah just noticed that there on the spec page.. width per axle 10mm... oh well thats what i wanted anyway.. just means i need to spend a fortune on long wheel nuts... anyone know of somewhere cheap or is the 36 quid price i was quoted from demon tweeks reasonable? cheers
really? does that mean i have 5mm spacers each side coming then? i ordered the 10mm spacers you see..... will i still need longer bolts for 5mm? cheers
i would have thought it was 30mm each spacer unless stated otherwise....... could be wrong tho.... you going for system B spacers then.... i decided to go for the 10mm system a with the longer bolts....
ill let you know how i get on... although i just called demontweeks and they are quoting me...
im having a nightmare with spacers too... everyone favours different methods... think general concensus is that universal are s**t. get ones specific to your vehicle.... im looking on fkautomotive.com and venom motorrsports at the moment.... initially wanted 10mm fk spacers... but some folk are...
