k my gearbox/clutch is sounding a bit dodgy and was wondering if n e one knew where the gearbox oil is kept so that i can check its levels cheers? (ps im no mechanic)

in the new ones its in front of the front passenger side wheel

cool i bought a thing called an rf loop through plugs into the ariel socket and then u do a similar thing with the radio i e tune it in....the loop through is powered and it sounds just like it would with an aux in so u shud try that...:)

k just started today when i pull away in 1st i get a knocking noise that i can feel in the clutch.... also you know when u change gear and u leave ure hand on the gear stick...when i change into second and leave my hand on the stick it makes a crunching noise even when its in gear..:confused...

u cud make a false floor and stick the motherboard etc underneath thats what i intend to do but davids right about the motion affecting hdd etc

aright m8 i just fitted a pc to my clio at the weekend just waiting for a new inverter to power it all.....what i would say is that u dont want the pc to start when u start the car because the power surge may damage the motherboard etc ull need an inverter prob about 600w one to give u enough...

i got my spare wheel well removed not got a pic tho will post one soon

the reason i was asking was i have just found an h plate gtt with 65k miles!!! dunno if they are genuine and the dude only wants 800 for the car!!!

What is the difference between the 172 lights and the other cheaper models......i.e is it just a bulb difference or is it a whole unit???? if it is the whole unit how much would it cost to get? cheers

i just cleaned my piperX one all i done was sprayed it with engine degreaser washed it in warm soappy water rinsed it thourghly and then left it to dry for a day or two. once it was dry i sprayed the oil that needs to be on it back on and it works great

here are a few pics of the custom kit that has been put on ma baby....its been sprayed now in black with a flake that changes green and blue....shes looking good imo tell me wat u think....done something dif with the arches and the front end..... i like :o)...

why not do up a 1.2 or a 1L. Just because its not a 172 or a turbo doesnt mean it cant look good! I personally cant afford a big engined car thats why i have a 1.2 aswell. Although the money that i have spent doing it up could have been used to get better car:confused:
