If it was a dealer that fitted the exhaust - take it back.. if you've noticed a massive difference in performance, there's something wrong. The exhaust blowing will affect performace & fuel economy.
My bus doesn't do the knocking sound it, but the wife's avensis does it every morning without fail.. its something to do with the ABS self test or something like that..
172 CUP, then use the money you've saved over a 182 & spend it on a few choice mods.. 182 manifold, modified inlet, exhaust, then into the interior, strip it, lighter seats, etc, etc.
& if you have headlight washer's, dont forget to unplug them too, the connections are on the passenger side (you'll see em when you start ripping the bumper off)
I noticed a tiny bit more torque steer by upgrading from 195's to 205's, but noticed an improvement in cornering.. I'm off back down to 195's when these are worn - as they're cheaper & I'm tight.
