may be wrong but do you not, not need that other bit once you've sent off the log book to the dvla? they send you a receipt type letter back anyway? or just phone the guy and get him to bring it back or send it!

dealers will want about £75 for each one, but i got one from ebay recently for £25 and there is no difference from the original.
