I fitted a pair of sparco buckets into my mk1 today, and they are that low i cant see over the dashboard properly. Used a pillow to raise it up a bit and they're fine but i look a complete goon carrying a pillow around in my car. I'm about 5 ft 10" so i'm no midget. Using sparco subframes too so...

Well it's been off the road for a month due to failing the dreaded MOT on rusty sills! Got it sorted over xmas for a very decent price of £130, the fella welded both sills, dropped the back axle and welded that too, then painted and waxed it! Also decatted now, she bangs! Took it for a wash...

Am i right in thinking that a 19 16v engine would go straight into my RT? For example if i bought a full car would everything (subframe,shafts,gearbox) fit the same as it would if i used a clio 16v donor? Seems to me that 19 16v's go for a fair bit cheaper for some reason :dapprove: Thanks Gav
