The latest is exactly as Mr Duck said. Ben is now productionising the prototype. Beyond this I can't comment as my involvement of initial design/test/funding ended some months ago. As I said I suggest you contact Ben at AWT for more information.
It would! However as far as I know Paul is still working on running ITB's with the standard ECU - only as a bit of a side/fun project.
There's no reason it can't be done as the fall back mode in Sirius for a failed map is Alpha-N, it just needs a lot of tinkering with and obviously time is...
What's the engine and box spec chap? 6hr is obviously a lot easier than 24hr but we found last year a lot of our competitors were having big failures at just after the 4 hour mark.

Do you mean on a Clio with EPAS? Mk2 or Mk3?
Mk3 EPAS is driven via the CANBus, it uses vehicle speed, lateral G, steering angle and a couple of other minor things to determine the driver presented steering load.
I don't know what the Mk2 EPAS used as input as I've never worked with it. It's...
Pretty sure he did, I fitted a 197 one to mine at one point and a Meg 225 one to another 736.
Bolt onto the rocker cover fine as far as I've found just the casting is a different shape so a 182/197 strainer can't be used with a 172 inlet manifold as the plenum fouls the rear of the casting...
Running Pectel with a Pi dash, which means the engine control is by KMS or Apex Speed tech. Which means in a really, really round about way I had a hand in that as we did the DBW config, V10 base map and (if its been supplied by KMS) the loom design :-)

No it won't give you the same gains as cams as you are still limited with regards delivered air mass i.e. there is no more of it. Just because you can put the fuel and spark in a different place doesn't mean you'll create more power - the standard ECU is already calibrated to achieve MBT at as...
A turbo doesn't neccesarily need a wastegate if it is sized to reach peak turbo speed at peak engine speed. This system has been used by Saab on a production engine with the V6 Asymetricaly turbo charged engine used in the 9-5. The downside to this is that there is no way effectively ramp up...
They're very gentlemanly lets put it that way! The car is also a 24hr endurance race so only really competitive where it can out stint and out last the competition. It has a 120L fuel tank for a start!
Despite qualifying last (having never driven the Clio at Combe before) we finished 18th...
Afraid I can't make the Mega Meet as we're running the X85 SE at Combe in Britcar!!
If anyone fancies seeing the Clio go up against the Moslers pop to Combe on Sunday!

Well as above I sold my Cup....... but have purchased a cheap Ph1 172 for cable body testing and on going dev, also have access to a Ph2 DBW car to carry on Ph2 DBW aircon testing.
I've spoken to Ben at AWT this evening who assures me the next revision is ready to test and as such I'll be...
It's not quite a straightforward as that full stop unfortunately and not just because of how the ECU may be calibrated. It's far too complicated and there are far too many variables to simply stick an XdegC is worth Y% power formula on it and thats before you factor in various forms of forced...
Standard F4R 8XX rods pass Renault/Oreca durability at 7800RPM constant/8200RPM mechanical over rev when fitted with ARP fasteners (i.e. 07 CC upgrade).
F4R 7XX rods pass at 7800RPM constant with ARP fasteners - no mechanical over rev testing data though I'm afraid.
Cheap rods are just...
I've fitted a couple of these and have never had a problem. Occasionaly you need to elongate the holes in the brace bar for the rear cans to get everything spaced properly and you do need to nip up the exhaust mounts AFTER the system is fitted while a helped/axle stand holds the exhaust in the...
Depends how much other stuff you want to change at the same time. The shells are a production shell so technicaly yes, but you'd idealy need to fit the front suspension as a complete unit etc. etc.

But as AS connectors are entirely reuseable and all you need are fresh pins its very easy to source both high and low density AS connectors from mil surplus and ex pro race car looms.
No one who doesn't need brand new AS connectors buys brand new AS connectors!!
And yes crimping is a very...
