I am indeed Paddy! I think Im well chuffed - not as chuffed as when we get the bottom of these power differences! I have to say though Ive noticed a bit of difference in power over the last 2K - its as if the engine is still lossening up - even after 11K. Feels a lot more torquey lower down...

Yep mine is back too. I had the problem when I first picked the car up and it seemed to go away - all through the (rainy) summer Ive had no probs. I noticed it had come back at Bedford last week - took the spare out for the track and noticed that the spongey bit under the spare was soaked...

Paddy/Tim - I beleive Neil said he got 212bhp at the last one. So his was lower yesterday @ 200 bhp.

Wayne mine was the 142bhp one with 12k - actually 146bhp on the print out. No mods.

Yep deffinately a 2.0 8v. I used to own a Megane Coupe 2.0 8v. I was talking to the owner about how few mods are available for the 8v. Loads for the 1.6 and 2.0 16v but next to nothing for the 8v. 115 bhp at the fly standard.

Cheers BRUN mate a good day out. Think Ive got a sun tan as well! I got 146 bhp @ 6460rpm - which Im pleased about. If I go with the above suggestion of 20 % transmission loss that makes it 175.2 at the fly!! I was suprised at how much the Standard 172s varied in output - a difference...
