its been happening for donkeys years,, thats why receipts mean something, a full dealer service history, errr, doesnt...
just a point to ponder...... (tricks of the trade ya...
Hi Roamer, dont bother with the head, its fine, and NEVER have one polished.. (thats just for show and no go - Sorry Fred lol!)
this is enforced by the FACT that the restriction on the 172 IS THE INLET MANIFOLD and SYSTEM design as a whole.
Yes, tbs are the way to go, you should get a good...
No Jas, I didnt say that m8 ...;)
I said that a second hand car is worth far less. simple...
your warranty period is from the day it is registered, and, the fact that you may WANT something new, NOT second hand.. (never raced or rallied etc - HA !!!).
A grand off the new figure is grand...
I would consider a road angel or similar personally (GPS Database)
The gatso detection of the radar units is pretty abysmal, and the laser detetector only tells you you have been nabbed, not good as a warning device.
Joe.
Motorpoint are great.
I payed £10999 for mine in May 2002 (6 months ago)
look to pay about 11-12k now for a brand spanker..
there are many, many second hand 172s from 7.5 k.
It is definitely a buyers market so shop around.

Ford = Fix Or Repair Daily...
Why not Jas ??... ;)
there is a brand new CUP on autotrader for 11.5k
172s brand new for 11999..
So, yes, a secondhand one is great, but I would expect to pay a LOT less than the new price.
there is a 2002 172 on trader with 5000 miles for less than 10k..
So, yes, if he can get a...

reassuring ??? hell no !
a real human driver would almost certainly be dead or brain dead.
Play it in slow mo....
the twisting force causes the vehicle rear to go to the left, the airbag inflates, the drivers head is deflected BY the airbag, not cussioned, misses the airbag completely and...
and, the v6 is not the loudest,
the loudest are also mostly boy racers with a metal bucket poking outa the back of the car ;) and, a feeble attempt to make it sound like a v8 lol...
and yes, they should also be fined and preferably interned indefinitely...
I am still totally baffled as to WHY they havnt shown power at the wheels ?.
(which is read directly on the rollers)
A nice percentage increase though Roamer, nice one.. we just dont know the validy of the actual figures though, onlty the percentage increase.
Joe.
My girlfriend (Jayne) is 5 foot nowt, and I cannot even get INTO the car after she has driven it lol !.
Might be worth remving the seat and checking the mechanism as its probably either a weak retrun spring or a worn ratchet tooth.

A turbo produce heat, and, as it is a std mix or normal air (just more of it !), burns in the same way as normal air, but gives increased pressure on burn leading to more power.
the flame burn at the higher pressure (of normal air) is extrmemley rapid and will lead to detonation, the only way...
yep, we all dress badly as time flys by.............
and, of course, the age of the clio dictates the condition...
yeh ! Verilly.. thou shalt follow the crede of age and mileage...
for, it telleth the whole truth...
and, long shall it be generalised for the good of all... and ALL...
Its gonna be rough, its gonna be tough.. and we may not be standing up at the end of this !
(the above is not a literal quote, just a feel... the words were spoken by one of my all time heroes.. sorry, being nostalgic here.. but a new shiney penny to the first to tell me who I refer to.....)...
