Personally i wouldn't know, but my car was used in the development of the GDi system and spent some time with Piper, so I doubt that this is some random Piper system that GDi are selling with a jacked up price.
Isn't this thread slightly pointless as Tom hasn't spoken to either side yet? All its doing is causing damage to the reputation of the companies involved.
personally i prefer the 172, but that mainly because when I had a 182 a mate commented on the twin exhuast asking:

True, but the Enzo and F1 are over £600K cars when new, whilst many have been put into collection etc, it just seems strange that a £800K car is spotted more often than something which is deemed less expensive.

I don't know why, but i'm just not impressed by the Veyron. Post up a Mclaren parked up somewhere random and I'm all ears. Veyrons seems to be everywhere (relatively speaking).
