I suspect it doesnt matter which firewall I use, they would all show the same IPs as they are nothing to do with ZA. Do you guys catch it tryign to connect to random IPs? I notice its a DNS thing, maybe its searching for a domain name to connect to?
Hi ppl,
I've noticed that everytime I load up NewsLeecher, I get a ZoneAlarm alert telling me that the newsleecher.exe is trying to conenct to the net. Fair enough I thought. BUT...I noticed that the IP it connects to keeps changing. I done a whois for the IP on Samspade.org and they belong to...
The ISP dont know s**t. The only thing they can tell is the amount of traffic you are using. They dont know any of the MACs, except maybe the mac of your default gateway (router). The only time I would start to worry is if you are transferring more than your ISP cap (if it has one).
Just do a Show Run command on the 2950. Copy and Paste the running config into a text file and then to the new router when connected (in global config mode). You will have to perform a few No Shuts on the interfaces that are in use and maybe chnage a few IPs to suit your needs.

Hey ppl,
Just wondering which usenet (newsgroup) reader you use? I've been using NewsLeecher but the trial is about to run out. I've tried a few others like GrabIt and Forté Agent but they either dont support .nzb's or do not decode binaries (yenc) very well.
Cheers,

I hear Sound Forge v8 is pretty good. Not sure if its quite up to the standard of cakewalk etc. Try www.download.com or www.tucows.com for trial/demo stuff!

Cheers for the info fella's!

Thanks McBunny, thats what I was thinking. I was just thinking that maybe it would put extra strain on the fan and mobo.
BTW, VSO DivxToDVD software is great! Its free (if you use the older version) and creates faultless DVDs with only around 3 clicks to get it started!!
Hey all,
I have just started messing around with DivX. When I convert from this format to DVD I get 100% CPU usage (according to Windows XP task manager thing). I know it is bad to ALWAYS run at 100%, but is it OK for an hour or two?
I'm running a P4 2.66GHz with 1gig of DDR RAM. I dont have...
