^ LOL don't know if that's the right word. But anyways......my drivers seatbelt when taken off doesn't recoil back as in I have to feed about half a metre back into the stupid gap otherwise I shut my door onto the seatbelt clip. Anyone know what maybe causing it? And how simple it would be to...

Have a look in the local meets sections mate. See if there is any upcoming meets near to you :) If not feel free to contact an area rep that you feel covers your location and see if they can find some members in your area and maybe help you to arrange a meet at a location chosen by you :)

I would recommend a 1.2 unless your going to be using the 172 for weekend blasts, 1.2 has same seats, cheaper INS, Tax etc if your keeping the mx5. But then you might be able to afford both comfortably. If you can then a sport is obviously the fun option.
