Nearside wheel has been rubbing previously by the look of it. There has been a new caliper fitted so I don't know if the wheel has had a knock but the wheel looks original and unbuckled.
Anyway the gap on the otherside is small but worse on the nearside. Could it be a poor camber setting? Was...
Aaargh. Went to a wedding yesterday. Got there pressed alarm button and it didn't arm. Tried everything no go.
So I left it a hour tried again still wouldn't work. Rang RAC and they towed me home. Got home tried it and it worked! Only thing is it was raining yesterday.
Could it be water...
Yeah nice black 182 parked near Marlpool church on grass with ClioSport sticker in rear window. Must come on here sometime. Private plate.
Work and live near so just thought could say hi. Noticed a few 172s in Heanor area. One on Holbrook street and another nearby parked next to another Clio...
I have a few little rattles but my hearing isn't so good. It's from the rear end but just want a few pointers as to what other people have found to cause rattles.
Hi.
I currently have Autoglym SRP, EGP, Bumper care, Vinyl care, Leather cream, Zymol shampoo, and some Colour Magic black.
Now someone said since my bonnet has quite a few stone chips (ph1 miles!) I should use some Colour magic on the bonnet and then seal with EGP. Don't seem to see...
Basically the title says it all. I think I need one since then engine bangs in first (sounds near footwell) tried adjusting top mounts but still there.
Apparently the ph1 one is £75 but the twisted ph2 one is £33. K Tec only do that one so I was wondering if one will fit the other. E-Mailed...
Right.
Had a new bracket for exhaust but then the middle pipe split so I got a stainless steel fitted. Thing is it rattles so I took it back to ETS. The original didn't.
The guy put some more rubbers in the bracket and some tie wraps. The back box seems quite stiff now. Drove down street and...
Will disconnecting the car battery effect the alarm setup. You know will it forget key fobs etc. I didn't have it fitted but do have all the certificates.
It's my old backbox. Nowt wrong with it. Just had stainless steel fitted so no use to me. I know that they aren't in alot of places books (they have to ring and order one) and Renualt is pricy.
So just might help someone out...
Spotted a chap in a silver ph1 Vee. Think he spotted me turn and look at his motor.
Tried to point out to my missus but she had it on her. Was at side of him before entering roundabout. Looked like he knew he had a nice motor.
Middle pipe cracked. Got told £110 for it and back box only got upto year left. £200 for both. Managed to get cat back stainless steel for £250 inc vat when should of been £275 plus vat!
It's at ETS tyres. The guy is a geek but v.good from what people say. He knows all the parts off by heart...
I have a Mk2 ph1 172. I don't drive it much. 50% of time in a garage.
I always give it a second to tick over and never thrash it cold. The oil is clean enough but about to change filter and oil to full synth since I don't know what the poor garage used for the service that they apparently did...
Hi
Posted some pics about month ago of my new to me Ph1 172. Now my problem is the fog/spot lights don't work most of the time. I have acctually seen them light up while out of the car checking if they are on.
If I turn them on a go for a drive when I arrive whereever I'm going more often than...
Just thought I'd say hi.
Wanted a 172 for ages and found this one and don't see many round like it so I got it. Plenty of mk2 around and 182s but not many mk1s in black.
What you think?
