So what are you getting mpg wise and how many miles to a tank? 1,200 miles I would guess is 4 trips to the watering hole? I thought the same on the fuel light when it first came on. I was thinking "but I've got so much left", well you don't!
Recommendation from ford for best launch is drop the clutch (when I did it I depressed the clutch with my toes then moved my foot down and let the clutch pedal spring back) and flat shift into 2nd. When testing the original setup, they apparently did 30 launches in a row with no adverse issues...
100% agree. The metallic rasp is one of the best things about them. I drove one through the Italian mountains to Switzerland. Through the tunnels it was amazing!
New road tax rules. Day one tax cost of c£500 and a reduced annual road tax cost. I pay about £230 a year for example but didn't have to pay the day 1 lump sum.
Wowser. Can't believe you've done that many miles over a weekend! I'm over year in and only used LC 3 times, good to see you're enjoying it properly. Look forward to the videos.
Really pleased for you and that you like it. After all the doubts about spending so much on a car, worth it?
Meant to post my original post in the new RS thread so sorry @MarkCup for spamming yours.
Darren, firstly, thanks. Like Mark, I wanted a stealth colour so it was black for me. About the flaps, these are aftermarket ones and more specifically performance creations ones. IMO they are better than...
Told you. Good to hear you're happy with it and enjoying the bonding experience.
Minor request, can you take a pic of the roof lining with the sun-roof. I've not actually seen what it looks like on an RS!
On other news, my new RS inspired coaster arrived to accompany my much loved/used CS...
The pressures you've listed are the recommended ones. I am aware people are running theirs lower ...39 psi up front and 38 psi rear and apparently it has a noticeable handling change (for the better). I run mine at standard and am happy.
Afraid that's not quite right. Mine is standard and it pops in normal mode following the PCM update which I think is fairly common.
I'm not sure if newer ones come with the same configuration so it may not be the same for you.
They are the standard seats the RS comes with but with the winter pack added (heated seats and steering wheel). The optional seats are the Recaro CS seats which are a 'nicer' seat with some downsides (not height adjustable, not able to be heated).
Looks very nice and like the write up. Good choice of colour!
If you're having a wheel repaired why not get all of them done in a slightly lighter colour? In every photo I've seen of the 200T all you can see is a black hole where the wheels are. They are so dark!
I know! Consider this an intervention. Stop being distracted, you need to focus on the cool projects!
To help you on your way, here are some half leather seats...

I can vouch for the benefits of a skid pan day. Was very useful to understand the capabilities of the car and lack of skills of the driver 😊
Are you also going to change the xenon's as yours look a lot more yellow compared to the one behind you?
