got in the car this morning and the climate control won't work but makes a buzzing noise from the dashboard :( done a quick search on here and the most likely solution seems its the resitor pack? Ive heard its quite expensive from renault, so does anyone know somewhere i can buy a replacement...

i'd sell up tbf if it was memate, if its been off the road since december it sounds like you don't heavily rely on it for work etc. sell up, then start saving a bit every month to get another car, worst case scenario is that you really need a car so you buy a cheap car to get you round.

i wouldnt have thought so tbh, i can't say for sure as ive only driven a 182 but there isnt much in it tbf. iirc the extra 10 horsepower on the 182 comes from the exhaust (someone correct me if im wrong?) The Phase 1's aka ph-quick are meant to feel quicker and more raw.

iirc they fit flush against the bumper but you just have to cut a couple of inches off each end as they are a bit longer than a clio splitter.

id wait personally mate, i bet you would be getting quotes between 3000-4000 pound on a 1*2, insurance is daft at the minute. im 22 (nearly 23) and i pay 1400 fully comp on a 182 with 1 year NCB. just save for a couple of years whilst driving the 1.2 and the wait will be worth it.
