And your hat fell off.
The Ford Focus RS only puts a 3 sec gap in between itself and a 210 LCR (not 225)
I cant see a cup doing 8 secs as that would mean 5 secs faster than an RS.
A BMW M3 puts 6.5 secs on the 210 LCR. How does the cup manage 8 secs??
Brazo, it just seems like sour grapes...
Brazo, where you getting these results from? The back of evo magazine by any chance?
The autodrome circuit has changed quite a few times. There is no way a 182 will put that kind of distance on an LCR with a professional track driver.
From the recent TG test where the same professional...
Roy, i think youve read that wrongly mate.
That was his point. The 182 was tested back in June when temps were 25C. The CTR/LCR were tested last week with temps probably around 8-10C
Yep true lagerlout but for purposes of PWR figures and the likes a lot of people seem to forget these extra weights. I mean a car doesnt drive itself!
I always fill my tank upto the max. I dont see the point in going to the petrol station every 5 minutes to put a tenners worth of fuel in it...
Average weight of a UK male is 80kg. 50 litres of fuel weighs about 40kg. Add on other liquids such as coolant water/windscreen washer/engine and gearbox oil.
Thats a good 130kg on top then.
These weights dont take into account driver and fuel load. Try adding 130kg on top for real on the road driving weights.

Rich have a look at the link mate, the CTR mob are at the same conclusion as myself.
Ian, its just a shame its a seat? I can say similar its just a shame its a clio but well not go down that road.;)
TBH, i couldnt give a monkeys chuff about how well, or not so well my LCR would do round a...
It just seems ludicrous to me why they involved the impreza and beemer but left out the CTR/LCR.
I really cannot think of a logical explanation:confused:
Oh and before anyone starts on the LCR argument, just have a look at the stigs times on the TG test track.
Professional driver on a dry track and the 182 was near enough a second down on the pace of both the leon and the civic.
Editors publish what they think will sell magazines, best hatch...
No snufty generally talks b****cks.
Remember all the driving tales rubbish he used to post. Ferraris/evos and tuned cossies were no match for his beast.
Snufty 153mph in a valver:o. You got a death wish?? I bet you it was rattling and shaking
You say you have proof, post it up then.
Heard theres a 140mph barrier that most revo owners seem to get stuck at. However hippychick from here has seen 162mph on GPS with her revo chip. I think roamer can confirm this.
The cars already got exhaust/filter so ill probably go the jabba route as this remap takes into account mods where...
Just read through the book mate, definitely with driver. Which would mean a weight of 1300kg (kerb)
Still quite hefty when compared to a clio but when you take into account CTR weight (1204) is without driver then it makes it a bit closer when driver added (Avg 76kg) (1376/1280...LCR/CTR)...
Its not that pointless mate as a car needs someone sat in it to drive it. (Real driving weight)
Ie...an addition to the weight which affects performance ie (PWR)
So a 1035kg car with a 75kg driver =1110kg
My thoughts were exactly the same mate, but reading through my manual (LCR) the daft...
Average weight is 12 stone. Surely theyd just plop that onto top (76kg)
Its just my new car is quoted with driver sat in seat, but all other cars ive owned its just the kerb weight (no driver)
It normally is.
My MG/CTR and scooby have all been kerb weights (1090/1204/1235). The LCR is fairly hefty at 1376kg but this is with driver.
Confused:confused:
Does it not tell you in your clio manual?
When talking about the weight of the car is the clio range quoted with or without driver??
Ie the 182 weight of 1100? Is that car+driver or just car??
My previous cars have all been just car, but my new car is quoted with driver
182 sport...how old are you? Should you not be having a nap?
Its you whos bringing this thread down. Would you care to tell me what sh*t i am supposedly waffling?
The 1 about the 1.2 clio looking similar to its big brother, yeah thats really talking sh!te. Of course there are differences...
I knew that 1 would come out, its just my opinion mate. Even a couple of your own have said about confusion with dynamiques from a distance. I doubt youd be able to do that with the FR and LCR, but who knows to the untrained eye.
