Never actually sold anything on ebay apart from 2 cars which i didnt post, however if i did i would be seriously miffed if someone bought something at which they admitted was a great price and had already saved over £100 then hd the bras neck to go through the hassle of claiming a tenner back...

Rat look is nice on older cars, when i say old i mean MK1 golfs and VW campers and VW caddy's i like the rat look.
However, whatever you try you are not gonna achieve it with a renault of any kind, buy another and leave that in the garden, remember its a Renault and it will rust a lot sooner...
I reckon you'd be safe enough mate, it will smell like a chippy though, one tank wont harm it anyway so maybe its worth a dry, if you notice anything such as lack of performance or poor fuel consumption then change back.
The only diesels i know that have had any problems are the PD engines in...
